SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
The IVth ISPAD Postgraduate Course and Conference “CHANGING DIABETES” will take place on 20-22 April 2017, in Varna, Bulgaria.
After the success of the Ist, IInd and IIIrd ISPAD Postgraduate Courses (2011, 2013&2015), local organizers (Varna Pediatric Endocrine Society, VAPES) aim to attract any interested pediatric endocrinologists, pediatricians, postgraduate trainees, medical students and nurses in 2017.
The chosen topics concentrate on aspects of current achievements and expectations in the field of the daily management of diabetes and rare endocrine diseases in children and adolescents, with a special emphasis on new technologies enabling health and societal challenges. Our distinguished speakers are Franco Chiarelli, Faisal Ahmed, Orit Pinhas-Hamiel, Henk Veeze, Kevin Colclough, Annemieke Boot, Simone von Sengbusch and others. Poster session is organized with the possibility to discuss own research with colleagues. Three MTE sessions are planned, with the possibility that everybody takes part. A lecture to the lay public devoted to new frontiers in diabetes management will be delivered.

Abstracts must be written in English, up to 200 words (Times New Roman, 12 pt). They will be printed in a Supplement of Scripta Scientifica Medica journal, with free Internet access.
